What is Pashmina?

Pashmina has become the name for the very best Cashmere in the world. Pashmina comes from the Capri-Hircus goat, which is raised in the Himalayan mountain region, where temperatures rarely rise above -30 degrees Centigrade in winter.

The Benefits for You

By purchasing your Pashmina over the internet you will save at least 40-50% off the high street prices. Top stores retail Pashminas at approximately £100 for a basic 50% silk, 50% Pashmina! We consider our clients as individuals, and their needs are our top priority.

The commonly known Pashmina fibres are sourced from the goat's soft underbelly, which is shed each spring, The Pashmina fibres are collected from rocks and bushes, or is brushed from the underbelly. No harm comes to the goat during this process, and the fibres are an entirely renewable resource...

The fibres are then sorted, cleaned and spun into Pashmina yarn. It is then woven by master weavers, and individually dried and dyed.

The ultimate indulgence is 100% Pashmina, though most clients prefer a combination of Pashmina and Silk (70% Pashmina and 30% Silk), because the silk adds strength and shine to the garment.

Why Pashmina?

A well chosen Pashmina can transform the simplest attire into the most chic ensemble. In the colder months it allows the ‘girl about town’ to stay warm, and still look stylish. Pashminas are a timeless and seasonless classic, which means they never date. Classic Pashmina colors that can be worn season after season are: pale pink, pale blue, natural, lilac, and of course black.
